I am incredibly frustrated with how Smallville is winding down. While I understand that the central focus of the series is obviously Clark Kent, the show has many interesting characters who ultimately serve only to demonstrate how wonderful Clark is in comparison. I was thinking about this the other night. Certainly there have been plenty of lame companion moments, but, as I thought about it, it was much harder to simply write off most companions as lame.
